Bike got blown off the car port last night, both side fairings and top fairing, both mirrors and brake pedal. Luckily I got mirrors and brake pedal already but

Found it wedged between car port and house, 2 foot drop between the two so I think when it went over it landed on it's head. If anyone knows of any 2nd hand panels give me a shout. There is a variation in fairings 2007-10 is what I'm after. Had the bugger MOT'd yesterday too. :(( :(( :((

Yeuk, horrid luck. You have my sympathies.
What is the exact bike / yr / colour ? I have just spent loads of time looking for a cockpit fairing for mine so I know a few places. I'll have a look around for you.
Got mine brilliantly repaired in the end. Guy is an artisit with plastic, fibre and paint.

Looks like I may have to claim, closer inspection shows the front subframe is damaged and split where it joins to the forks by the bolt holes. Definitely landed on it's head by the looks of it, dent in tank and scuff where the rear brake lever has hit the frame. I'm no assessor but by my calculations of new parts, it will cost close to £2500 alone and that's without labour. Anyone know if I'm covered by wind damage if you know what I mean? I got a MCE policy.

Ouch, taken any pics yet ?

They might class it as ' act of God ' but then again can you get round that by being an atheist ?

Tricky one :-(

If I recall, an act of god is one that could not sensibly have been guarded against or prevented. Also many companies have abandoned the phrase for specific exclusion clauses due to so much litigation.
