Nice one, it's a shame the videos never do the hills any justice, they're much steeper than they appear.

Great stuff! Nice looking site too. Bet you were glad of the electric boot ...... Especially by those unfriendly roots!
How is the day organised? Do you just trundle off and make your own paths, or do you have to follow a set route/group?

Competed in the Westcott Trial yesterday, long distance road trial starting in Minehead using many lanes & woods on Exmoor.
Can't get over how much land & lanes there is to use there compared to Cornwall - we do another long distance event, Jubilee Trial starting at Raleaghs Cross in May and hardly any of the lanes overlap in both trials.

Do you have a route map that could be scanned/posted up Graham? To the best of my knowledge there are no legally driveable "green" lanes on Exmoor now - all are subject to PRO's. The only way is to go with one of the commercial groups who pay a licence fee to the landowner(s) ......

I believe the organiser of the Westcott gets special permission to use land that you are not normally allowed to use.
The TRF days are good fun, no 4x4's but quads are ok and as Mark says,as cheap as chips
http://www.yamaha-offroad-experience.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; do good taster days on there own private land in wales (1000's of acres to play on)
Well worth a day or 2 out on either their bikes or your own - might struggle on a TL or R1 though
