bad riding days

has anyone found it is getting more and more difficult to ride our bikes? What with the constant strong winds and bad weather and the stupid blind barstewards in cars. Maybe I am getting old, I am finding that even having eyes in my backside doesn't help these days. Modern cars have so many toys for the morons to play with they are not even interested in the road.

Yep, roads are bad, weather this time of year sucks and like you say the toys in cars now provide too many distractions to play with.

Throw into that mix the view of superiority some drivers have over bikes, the poor standard of a lot of newer riders, the availability of high powered bikes to people who just don't have the ability to yet appreciate or respect it giving the rest a bad name, the increasing presence of automatic policing on our roads and a healthy dose of general frustration.

All these combined go together to create an outlook of humph.

I've been kind of enjoying riding my bike in this bad weather :-? , training my smooooth riding techniques.

Agree on modern motorists though, far too many distractions on the dashboards and mobiles glued to ears!

I've been waiting patiently to ride my newly purchased GSXR I bought Christmas time and frustratingly waiting for a good day to test her out! :( I check the forecast everyday and demoralised, stroll out into the garden and start her up pretending I'm riding but going nowhere! lol :)): I'm like an excited kid!

Some paper said the cold spell could last through to May!!! What, you're kiddin' me right?

TBH...i like riding in the wet and windy weather... it tends to hone your skills..
But given the choice.... Sunny warm days win every time... 8) :D

It's cold today but if I wasn't locked into this dungeon of despair (work) I'd be out there. OK the roads are slippy from the salt but you can still enjoy the sun and go for a cruise (maybe not what you want for the GSXR though I admit).
