Then maybe the price will come down a bit so i can get one.

A bit too much R1 in the design for my taste but those specs and a 30 minute charge time might be a big way towards making electric bikes desirable. I know the lack of noise might be weird but that much oomph with a whoosh could be it's own thing.

WTF are electric bikes SOOO expensive? They've got far less moving parts and bits than an petrol bike. I know they need a lot of batteries but come on!

Ok so your talking about £25k to £30k for a brand new technology bike.
But look at it!!!
in every way this is a full Superbike with decent brakes, suspension and amazing power.

If you consider the price tag I grant you, you are in Ducati Panigale territory if your buying it new but give it 5 / 10 years and these bike are going to be on the 2nd hand market for the £5k mark. Further more technology moves so fast that in 5 / 10 years batteries will be so much better and so much cheaper the bikes are going to be even cheaper to start with......

Is it just me..... this is exciting..... very exciting.....

wake up people this is the new world. No road tax and you charge it up from the solar panels on your house then ride off down the road at 6am without waking up any of your neighbours or killing the planet.

and they do one in Suzuki blue what more can you ask for ^:)^ \:D/ :ymapplause: :D B-)

It's not just you. It's not traditional biking and maybe sometimes you need the noise and physicality but most of the time a bike which pulls smoothly at any speed and lets you listen to what else is going on could be a very different, maybe even better, experience most of the time.

Yea but rob what you also forget is that if the battery's are neglected or abused then they will need replacing in 5-10years time and that's why there being gotten rid off,

To replace the battery's in a Toyota prius is best part of 4k,
Honda leaf fully electric cars are rumoured to be around 7-8k when they need replacing.

Yes battery technology is getting better but still not good enough yet for me to hang up my spark plugs

I still love the roar of the engine as you twist the throttle, but you can't stop progress I suppose ;-)

I can ignore it in favour of a bike I can fettle and fix myself on the other hand :-) :-)
