Not sure of the first, but the second vid is the infamous Holbeam Lane, just a mile or two from me. Its a great lane, but tis a brave person to go down there after the rain we've had without testing the water first ...... Those dips after the ford will swallow a bike whole - I've been down there with water behind the bow wave over the top of my Disco's bonnet .........its also closely watched now, as the landowner has suffered a lot of "off-piste" activity (mostly 4x4's

) in the bit by the ford, as can be seen in the clip.

And I'd expect nothing otherwise, of you
Holbeam is one of the closest lanes to me and i've driven it countless times now, and even helped pull a few people out of it after their vehicles decided to stop in the water in those dips. I haven't been down there for several months, due to the previously mentioned hassle that was had, and it's interesting to see all the barriers laid either side on the approach to the ford, and the cleared trees. Hopefully that'll stop the idots who ruin it for everyone.
Not sure if this will work, as this laptop doesn't play video, but here is the last section of Holbeam at (slightly slower) Landrover pace -

If the clip works (and once I apologise for the cr*p music, if I remember right), the leading edge of the bonnet going underwater is about 4ft high .....
Not sure if Holbeam was on a "Maverick" route file I sent you ages back, but it's on this one (can't remember who i did this for ....), which is quite a nice day out , with a mixture of lanes
If you ever fancy a day out with a heater, radio, and roof, give me a shout

Totally agree. Great fun. And a lot cheaper than track days
Recently bought a Drz400e. Loving the green laning too. Joined Trf to make sure I ride legaly.excellent organisation. Also did an enduro practice day. £20 for an orgsnised off road day. Although I was a bit out of my depth. And totally knackered! Lost count of how many times I fell off.. But no damage to the bike. Excellent. I was a bit sore mind.
