So I was on my way to work via my outlaws house to drop of my eldest as he doesn't go back to school until tomorrow. And we get blue flashy lights.
The policeman ask how old Luke is I reply 6 and he shakes his head and says he has to be 16 to be on a bike.

Must have been bored, as long as they are able to hold on by themselves and reach the pegs I thought it was legal as some people with kids only have bike licences.

I hope you told the Copper to go back to school.
Unless your son was on the front of course?

Yes that's what it is. But as I was early I didn't mind humouring them for 5 minutes.
Not sure what was on the staff canteen menu this morning but I could of sworn I saw egg on there faces as the pulled away.

If that really was their reason for stopping you, I'd write to the ch. constable. Hope you got their numbers, the boys in blue are getting thuggier by the day.

No point putting in a complaint chances are they will watch me even more then to get for something that would stick. If they had of made me late for something then yes I prob. would make a compliant. But as I knew I had done no wrong It gave me the chance to to a couple of pictures (which he soon turned his back to). And let me boy see how they get it wrong and go off with their tails between their legs.

A long standing bike mate of mine - both her and her hubby have NEVER held a car license! They've raised a family and lived life on two wheels very successfully....fortunately for her, their son was always tall for his age so reaching the pegs came quite early!! As long as they can hang on, touch the pegs and don't fall asleep on the back lol

He was mate that was the only thing I was pissed off about. Although the man in black did apoligise to me a few times he was to embarrassed to be a man and make my kid feel ok. (maybe it was because I was already saying to him it was all ok the silly man is wrong)
