SWB Rally?

Let me throw this out to see if there is any interest....
If we (I am happy to put some ground work in to this) were to arrange a (long) weekend away (in the region?) during the summer with rideouts both days would anybody be interested?
Was thinking if we could find a site that would allow camping for us more hardy folks but had a hotel nearby for those that can't face a tent it would open it up to as many people as possible.
Focus would be on biking, beer and a jolly good time. Might be a real wheeze. Any takers?

Planning a few days away with the tent in a few months time anyway. So I would be interested.

Smiler organised something in deepest, darkest, Cornwall a year or two back that was well received. Campsite near Gwythian, if I remember correctly.

2012 was over in Wales. Camping,Tipis and B and B (for the not so brave) all on one site. Plus you'reon the fringe of some of the best grockle free roads aswell

Thanks scorcher - that looks like a great plan. Camping is £10 a night and a Tipi (without the Injuns) is £50 for 2 sharing.
We can have our own camp fire, BBQ, sing songs

drink a pint of beer and go biking (not at the same time). There's a B&B nearby also if ya don't fancy the open air. They have their own river beach plus you hire canoes etc all on the edge of the Breacons...terrible biking country
Here's the link to the site;

We can agree dates at a later stage perhaps, so, who's up for it?

I've stayed at Hollybush before.....erm, it was 'OK'.....VERY basic and not especially nice site, although as Scorcher said, there is some of the best biking to be had in that area
Gwithian campsite doesn't advertise as a biker friendly place but she is happy to have small groups (I think we had about

and the amenities are superb, pub across the road is awesome for food too
I'd definitely be up for a weekender! Proper laugh getting away on the bike

Have a few plans already this year but dates depending, definitely up for this. Like Smiler said, the holly bush was, well, different but the last time, it was mildly damp, no, goppingly soaked and muddy but awesome fun. They did have camping there to. definitely be up for something, camping in Snowdon somewhere, I know a couple of sites in Bala where we have a few beverages around the fire with my kayaking mates.. Not wanting to hi jack your ideas Stinker, just throwing ideas into the fray but definitely up for a weekend camping where ever...

Also up for a weekend together, but camping's a no-no for my old bones.
If we don't get our own SWB one organised I'll be doing a weekend in September at Llangollen with the B-King crew. We're still getting the final details sorted but when went there in 2013 it was about £55 per person per night dinner bed and breakfast. Guests from SWB will be welcome

It's looking like the Llandow/Pembrey trip is going to be an adventure weekend.
