I have a thruxtonR and am considering upgrading the exhaust system using vance hines pipes.
Can anyone advise me whether this is a good choice or some alternatives please

they are a recognised brand so should be fine, never had any comments on them good or bad so can't comment that way. Do any of the UK brands do an exhaust instead, Black Widow do good systems at a sensible price, whether they do one for your Triumph though, no idea. Best thing to do google uk exhaust makers then see what reviews are available. Always try to support Uk manufacturers if possible ;) .

Few vids on youtube. with and without Cats and with/without baffles. Couple other choices too (Remus and Predator?!?!)

Isn't the Vance & Hines a Triumph official accessory anyway - shouldn't cause any problems with fitting/warranty etc.
Bike magazine last month had a pair fitted on one of the Thruxtons on test.

If you think that dear, best not look at the price for full systems from Akrapovic and Termignoni then
