Well I think it's actually happened,
Now been riding 10ish years and knocking on the door of nearly 30,

My bike insurance have been less that £100!!
It's nice at last to slightly enjoy insurance companies a bit more now with "sensible quotes"

That cheered me up :(

OP getting old? I passed my test before you were born. And my insurance is more than £100.

I ain't old enough to get an Old Guys Rule tee-shirt though - they are for old gits who think they're cool.

Yea but the fact of 10years ago was paying £1800 to insure a 0.8l daewoo matiz and my first big bike, a yamaha thunder cat restricted to 33bhp was nearly £700 it's actually quite a feat in my eyes.
