Linking TomTom to battery

Hi All,

Bought a Tom Tom 420. Comes with a lead coming from the mount with 2 pins. This is supposed to be plugged into a longer lead that has 2 wires on the end which I guess you have to wire to the battery.

I've already got a lead coming (TM type) from the battery for the battery charger.

Does anyone know of a lead that will convert between the TM type and the TomTom 2 pin socket?

Ta muchly

Realistically if you want it hard wired to the bike it should be done via a relay to prevent battery drain when not being used.
If you know what shape the plug is its easy,
( for example oxford heated grips now use tamiya battery plugs)

And are cheap connectors online

I have just wired my TT42 on my Tiger to the horn. It only draws power when the ignition is on and otherwise goes to sleep. seemed much easier than running cables all the way back to the battery.
