Hi All

I have been watching this web site for a while and have got to say that I feel it is very good. There is instruction on here for riding better (specifically on track) and there are a load of articles answering biking questions relating to riding and bike set up.

Really is worth a look

Also I signed up for the free training videos and just coz I am nice I thought I would post the links so you done have to wait and can watch them straight away.

enjoy.....

Thanks for that. I've signed up too, but one question; I'll be 70 next year, so is it too late to get into the fast group? =))

I meant "and survive"! I managed to cope in the fast group at Cadwell a few times. I was slower but predictable so didn't cause any problems. A vivid memory is of a group flowing past me just before the Gooseneck, led by a women on a Ducati with her blonde hair streaming out behind her! I then ran into the back of a muppet on a 600 going about 20mph slower who had been hidden by the group. He was out in the wrong group on his mate's bike. :x

why was he the muppet? he couln't see you behind him approaching could he?

if you torpedo someone on track or road it's the fault of the rider hitting the rider in front.

if you torpedo someone in the paddock then both your gixxers will be safe outside of your van and nobody will disturb either of you until the van stops rocking. :)):

Because he had gone out in a group he wasn't booked into, on his mate's bike (with the relevant group sticker) and was wandering about off line and very slowly. In the middle of a bend in the fast group you don't expect someone to be that slow and drifting out. We did both stay on, but I bent his exhaust somewhat. Subsequently I came up to him in various bends but gave him room to wobble about before passing him on the exit. Unfortunately his bike was faster than mine, so he re-passed me on the straights, until I got fed up and stuffed myself under him at the hairpin, got two corners ahead of him and never saw him again.

The bloke in the videos is very good, not once does he have to refer to the notes he wrote on his arm B-)
