Very true but if there not a little serious you'll never improve as rider because you'll not the dedication and will power to improve and change bad habit you get from lazy road riding.

Get the wanting to improve, its what we all hope to do. Some just take it a little to seriously imo. It's a track day not a race day after all

With my ever increasing age and waistline I suspect it may be the other way round but I’m not there to race :-)
