Was down west bay sunday and bike park open.and is ok to be fair plenty of seats etc

It's not finished (I think/hope).

The arty stuff hasn't been installed yet, which I believe has the main seats in it.
It's just a flat area with tarmac where the concrete use to be, a low height circular barrier and the old wooden benches put in there.

Once finished it should be spectacular, or just ok...

I reckon just ok.

More space to park?

meh.. hard to say.

I wonder if they are gonna try to charge for parking, same as they did Last time they "improved" it.

The bean counters will think of it sooner or later....

guaranteed as they know lots of bikers go there they will bring in a specific biking parking charge.
