Saw this today on the Bennets 'Bike Social' page and thought it may be helpful to people who, like me, haven't much experience of the UK Trackday world.

Would be one hell of a road trip mind!!

Missed pembrey, blyton and llandow

Yeah, I posted Bennets about Llandow and Pembrey being missed. Didn't know about Blyton though; where's that?

12 as they missed out Llandow and Pembrey.

I find it very interesting that (disregarding the odd exception) it seems somebody got a map, put a pin in South Devon. Tied a bit of string to it with a pencil at the other end, drew a big circle and then told everybody your not allowed to put a race track inside this circle. Hence the race track builders lined them all up on the edge of the line.
Done quite a few of these tracks. Bedford, Brands Hatch (in a car not a bike), Cadwell, Castle Combe, Donnington, Mallory, Oulton, Silverstone. Such good fun and we are so lucky.... thank god I don’t live in Switzerland

That's an interesting point, and one that I observed eons ago and have questioned ever since. The southwest in general - and that's a big area, has always been the land that time and Westminster forgot, and continues to prefer to. . . . .. North-south divide? the southeast-southwest divide is even bigger!

Oops, got a bit off-topic there, I'll duck back down behind the parapet now!
