about me, petko17

Post by petko17 »

Hi, my name is Peter, im from Slovakia, now working and living in Crediton. Im 23 (old bagger) and i passed my CBT 1 month ago, and bought yzf r 125. So Iam L-plater :) I want to get some experience on small cc bike ( i never drove motorcycle exept scooters on holiday) and then hopefully when i will be ready pass the test and get something bigger. To learn to ride, was one of the best decision i have made in my life, and one that makes me so happy every time I ride.

i still think that start with 125cc is the right way to go. Today i went for a ride to Exeter, and there is a dual carrigway (dnhts) and i was just going by my tempo ( 50mph) and i was flied by some dude that was doing well over 100mph+ and the wind he created pushed me from my line to another ( or was it just stress and fact that i nearly shit my self?), anyway it was scary because he was in the same lane, and it was so close. AAaaaaa, didnt like it at all,, if there will be something on the road and i will try to go around it he will crash to me. Well from this experience i can say, that biking is really dangerous even if you are the best driver of all ( and im not i try to learn the basics). There's always someone crazy

Welcome mate.
Take your time, go at your own pace and stay safe.

How the hell can I say that, I seem to DO a FUNKY the most on here.

Despite crashing being called 'doing a funky'...

No one should buzz you mate, thats just poor show and willy waving. You chose well to start on a 125, next job is to get yourself on rideouts and hunt for feedback on your riding, particularly from the likes of phil (speedy), nick (mavernick) and Gavin (dynamight), I'll be honest and say that Simon (billinom8s)has been my mentor since passing.

Watch the lines and manner of riding in this video

Yes sorry about that I shall edit it.

That advanced riding, how slow does he want to go, jesus. At one point I can see a queue of 3 cars behind him.
If he's so advanced why isn't he KD on every corner

Saying that I want to do IAM and bikesafe, for a different perspective on riding.
