Post by AlmostMr »

Hi,thought i'd join the forum to get some advice off fellow bikers. Am looking at moving into the area after many years in the armed forces, am looking at taunton and bridgwater areas for central area for work and travelling. Any of the locals got recommendations/advice on decent areas and areas to avoid? All opinions welcome

hi there and welcome to swb, gotta name ? what bike do you ride ?

as for areas, i guess that depends on where you are gonna be working, where you are moving from etc. if you are from out of the region you have to be aware that the road network down this way isn't as good as some of the other regions in the country.

if you to be working in bristol then Taunton is probs as far south as you want to go. Don't bother with Taunton though, keep to the East of the motorway, access is easier.

Don't bother with Chard. Again, can't really help until we know work area.
