Sunday May 30th

Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Busa Bro wrote: May 23rd, '21, 14:04 Newbie here. Hey.
How serious do you guys ride? And what sort of time/route are you thinking?
Tbh, I'll be aching just getting to Tiverton and back ! 😂😅😂
Hi Busa Bro, As with most rides that your find on here they will normally be over 100 miles and will allow for different speed of riders either by using a "Check your Mirrors" or by using a drop off system so people don't get left behind. This said if your looking for a slow cruise then I would guess this ride might not be for you.

If you want to know a little bit more then have a read of this thread viewtopic.php?f=94&t=89587

If your concerned and want to make sure that you fit in on your first ride then you can always keep and eye open for "Friendly Rides" these are always at published speed limits are 125cc friendly and have lots of stops and focus on getting to know the others on the ride.

Will leave the choice up to you, you can always drop a PM (Private Message) to the ride organiser if you have concerns that you would like answers to.

Hope this helps

it varies from ride to ride.

the aim is to keep everyone together and for everyone to get home ok. some are more sedate than others (thee are called and posted up as friendlies).

pretty much the racing is saved for the track

If you are planning on coming to Tivvy via Bickleigh just bear in mind that the bridge will probably still be shut after the wee artic / stonework interface incident earlier this week.

Have fun riding those roads on a sunny, bank, Holiday. I'm sure you'll have plenty of overtaking practice.
