I'm taking the bike to France for five days in a couple of weeks time and would be glad to hear from anyone who has travelled the west coast. I'm in Roscoff for a Monday morning and sail back Friday evening. Any int regarding the whole trip would be gladly received (decent roads, areas to avoid etc). Itinerary is not set in stone so if someone feels a certain area/road deserves a look please let me know.

Not set in stone means I have a ferry ticket and f*ck all else organised

Come off the chunnel and head down the west coast mate some of the best roads you'll find. If you're just going over for a day go as far as dieppe and then have a drink on the harbour before heading back.
