Re: End of May ride, anyone?
I bought an ER6F from a private and Sp have been amazing at helping me keep it until pick up and attaching connections for GPS and The Givi lockup luggage system. They also sold me most of my gear too. There might be a slight hick that could hold me up on Sunday. Not 100% sure yet. If you don't hear...

Sure, If you're happy for me to tag along.
I don´t know where that is or how far.
Any chance of a map or a couple of points I can see for myself on google maps for my own curiousity?

It's a new bike for me, so I'll be trying to get used to it before I hit the chunnel into France the following week. ...

Ok, I've just read through all 11 pages of the 'Friendly Ride', sounds like a fun day was had by all. Would love to join you folks on one of these rides. Sounds like a massive group of good people. I will be in Exeter on 26th/27th May. I need to get some practice on my new ER6 to get the hang of it,...

Re: Ride to the friendly ride from Newton Abbot
Well the 'Friendly' is a ride out at posted speed limits, so not the warp speed 'progressive' rides that others can be, but its based on those who use this forum (unless you want to bring friends ;) ) not national. Its a fun day out for all abilities and a good chance to put names to avatars :D :D ...

Re: Ride to the friendly ride from Newton Abbot
Sorry for being such an outertown newbie but what's this ride all about?
Is it a big national ride or a local private ride?
Must be a good one because everyone seems so excited.

Re: Bike transporter
I will be arriving in England by plane with a shopping bag full of my gear and then probably catching bus or train to whereever I have to retrieve bike from.
Hopefully it'll be in the Exerter area.
Trailer probably not an option at this stage.....but thanks for the suggestion

Re: Q: What are you paying for fuel atm ?
Thanks folks.
I'm kind of in shock!! But it has made me re-adjust my budget.
Might have to survive on tins of baked beans while I'm there.
