did not realise there was a dyno in bude???

wow, what is there reputation, im asking because i intend getting a setup done on my new R1 and a ride to bude is better than a ride to GT's in plymouth!!???

Sounds like a good idea, ill chuck steve at GT Motorcycles in plymouth an email, i would only use GT's for this facility as there guy is a good bloke!!! he has dyno'd and tuned all my bikes so far. ill email them and get back to you all.

Just get the bike that takes your fancy, if its restricted it does'nt really matter. when i passed my test i jumped straight on a GSXR 600, so by trying to be sensible you may find yourself losing money! while i was learning i bought a bandit 600, and kept it 2 weeks and then traded it in for a Gixx...

just put my new engine in the TLR gas flowed, ported polished, high comp pistons and cams. goes like a rocket, called steve at GT performance center and going to get it on the dyno to get the power commander setup correctly!!! when it was in the race bike it was running 139 bhp @ the rear wheel and ...

i have had fast cars before i started biking and to be honest cars bore the shit out of me now. why bother when it would only go to tesco and back or mothercare and back!!!!

plus have not come across one car on the road that can keep up, and unless i can ever afford a Pagani Zonda im not interested

Blokes... just stripped my TL1000R engine as i lost a tooth on 3rd gear, so im replacing the gear on the input and output shaft. However good old GT's want £186 for a full gasket set for the TL1000R, you must be able to get them cheaper than that!!!! Any other links or recommendations???? Cheers Dan
