Dyno Day!?

Post by JimR »

After spending the day servicing and fitting a few new ignition coils and a power commander, i thought i'd better get the bike set up on a dyno, which then led me to think that maybe we should have a group dyno day? I have been invloved in car clubs that have done this, usually get a power run cheaper if you get a good bunch together, the more you get the cheaper it gets!

Not sure where the best dyno would be, but the only ones I know of are at GT Motorcycles Plymstock, somewhere just outside Exeter IIRC! and theres one just outside Penzance.

Anyone up for this in a few months? let it warm up abit ! 8)

My mobile Dynojet dyno is based in Williton near Minehead if anyone is interested. I attend most of the shows and dealer days in the southwest, if people wanted to do a dyno day I'll sort out a deal for everyone on here depending on numbers email me at muttsnuts1@hotmail.co.uk or call 07528 643715, if it's just horsepower/speed/A/F runs etc that people wanted then the maximum number of bikes that I can run in a day is between 25 and 30. Torque takes a little longer depending on type of bike and how easy it is to gain access to HT/coils to take an indctive rpm pick up from. As a rough idea a group of 20 bikes to be run would cost £20 per bike. There is a very good cafe for teas breakfasts etc nearby, and the A358 from Taunton can be a fun road when it's dry.
