not sure if by taking away the butterfly valve on the gixxer thou you might lose some torque but gain some horses in the higher rev range???

anyone know???

Seen those at Ally Pally last year Danny, look the nuts :) :) As for losing torque if you disconnect the exhaust valve go to GTs and speak to Brian or Steve in the Dyno

they are lovely looking pipes.

....and the set valve does tantamount to [censored] all.

regardless of what suzuki might want you to think its primarilly there for getting past emissions and noise laws. I just put the stock can back on my gixxer thou for a week or so to get past noise laws in germany and rather than recable up the set valve I just left it in the wide open position unconnected. It felt no different to how it feels with the set valve working on the stock pipe.

We also uncabled one of a friends K3 when he was getting set valve related FI errors. It was almost impossible to tell you just left it locked open when you rode it.

this has been discussed tons of times on http://www.gixxer.com (everything you ever wanted to know about GSXR's and there are loads of people on there running racefits if you want to trawl for pics and advice) you may want to pay the site a visit.

If somebody brought the slash one, I think most people would wonder why there is no exhaust pipe on the bike unless they knew there was a pipe like that one.
