POSSIBLE RIDEOUT FRANCE FOR 2 FOR £20 OR £35 INCLUDING BIKE

Post by speedy(delboy) »

Just had a email from M&P, maybe some use to others.

This link takes you direct to Brittany Ferry Site, where they have the offer.

http://www.brittanyferries.co.uk/index. ... cleid=3116

Might be worth getting a few of us together and having a trip considering how low the cost is :?: :?:

I'm game, if anyone else is.

Yep yur right Jonny.

However, riders on their own can also go, but they will still have to pay the £35, which is still over 50% off the regular prices apparently.

Dunno if this info helps, pulled it off the website.

Travel is valid between 2nd October - 23rd December 2006.

These fares are valid for stays of up to 24 hours in France and provided both the outward and return journeys are completed as specified on the ticket.

Just looked on http://www.ferrysavers.co.uk and you can get return ferry crossing Dover/Calais for £35 nearly all year round, Does not seem to be that much of a bargain.
Nobody with a good car needs to be justified.

Dover-Calais is cheap because it's a short crossing - but it's a 4-5 hour drive from here to Dover.

The catch with this deal is that you're only allowed onshore in France for 29 hours and you inevitably take an overnight ferry which means you have to book a cabin, which costs more on top of the deal price.

Still not a bad price all in though.
