You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Just got home!

Nick had an off looks like target fixation went off on a left hander into hedge. Nick seems to have broken his collar bone. Nick went off in an ambulance to Exeter.

We had the farmer lift Nicks bike out of hedge with his tractor, and the damage was not to bad. Left fairing and mirror and 2 indicator lenses and the bike would be back on the road.

Blimey was recovery man ! Thanks Blimey.

Well done to all for helping Nick

I did offer him the kiss of life but he said no

Speedy , jason and myself then road on to Torrington for a burger and sunshine.

Good to see you all again

Didnt think the bike was going to make it back on the trailer as one of the plaster covers over the wheel came off

Speedy recovery to you nick.

the farmer was a dab hand at getting the bike out of the ditch/stream...I think he said that was the third bike he has fished out of that spot this year!

Hi All,

well, I have spoken to Nick on the phone and am talking to Leroy as I type this.

As you all now know, Nick has a broken collar bone but is ok.

I have showed Nick the photo's he asked me to take and here they are with Nicks Permission:

Moosey has now also renamed me Mr Jinx (JONNAH), as in 2 rideouts, I have watched 2 crashes right infront of my eyes and both on GSXR 750's. Bartmans and now Nicks.

Bloody hell,

Theres me thinking of getting back into biking after a 4 year layoff, and thinking hmm I'll try and make the 160 mile trip back down south a few times for some ride-outs.

Rethink in order I recon ;-)

Hope you can get back onthe bike soon.

Craig.

Hi Nick, its certainly good to see you smiling  whilst you were waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

I hope that your shoulder is as comfortable as can be expected this morning, and that you make a full and swift recovery from what must have looked quite an impressive off.

Oh yes, I almost forgot the important bit; hope that you manage to rebuild bike without too many problems.

Best regards,
Chris.
