been out for a burn today and the road was closed as a biker had been killed at the roundabout at the top of the hill near charmouth and lymeregis(the one on the way to westbay)
my friend was on his way back from bournemouth and said it looked like a black cbr type bike!
hope every one from here is ok and made it home safe

I was there and he was still alive then.

We were going towards Bridport and had just come off the roundabout. I looked in the mirror and saw a bike summersalting through the air. We turned off and went back up to the roundabout through Charmouth. There was a medic there who had been passing. She said she needed is lid off because he couldn't breath very well due to blood around his airways. I said about not taking lids off unless you really have to and she said she did. She was trying to take it off but couldn't so I said how to do it and she asked me to. She was incharge so I did.

A few minutes later the emergancy services turned up. They rolled him on his back but we left before he was taken away. He was still alive then.

The bike was a ZX9-R (single headlight model).

I hope he is ok. The police said the'd be in touch. If anyone knows who he is please contact me.

Have just spoken to the police regarding the motorcyclist at Charmouth yesterday. At 9.30 this morn he was critical but stable in hospital. He's got bad head injuries, but only time will tell if he pulls through.
My thoughts go out to the motrocyclist, his family and friends. Wishing him well and hope he pull's through alright. :(

Baskie - that one you're on about is the Plymouth one, his name was John I think (according to the thread on the Frog website).

Hope the Charmouth guy makes a good recovery.

Ride safe everyone
