devon air ambulance base to base charity ride

manage to get details of devon air ambulance base to base charity ride for those like me who did there first one last year well its back again for this year date confirmed for sunday 8th july route still a bit stetchy but full details should be out within a few weeks

I have heard from some sources that it will end in Exeter this year.
Nobody with a good car needs to be justified.

Lets hope this one isnt a long ride through this countries smallest backroads followed by a 3hour queue for a burger then home.

Only upside is it's a good charity!

I think you have to view it like a more flowing version of the mega-ride but with better scenery :wink: just kick back and enjoy a gentle stroll in the countryside ........ I think that they would suffer in the press if they did anything that encouraged "quicker" pace that led to miss-haps :roll:

yes it will definetlry be end in exeter this year they told me that a they are looking at a route from bideford to exeter but will ring me to confirm this and i will post it as soon as

Air Ambulance Base to Base Run

Not sure if this one will start at Bideford now this year. The Air base is moving from Huntshaw Nr Torrington to Eaglescott Air Field tomorrow 3rd April. Will be worth contacting organisers.

The organisers have sent all the info out in the post a few weeks back saying the start point is Atlantic Village. don't think they will change it now, as they have already started advertising

i come back from my solo 4800 mile coast ride for the air ambulance on the 7th july so i am doing the base to base as an extra day if the bike makes it .
