why are end cans cc specific ? can you run a 600 can on a 1000 or vice versa ?

what happens if u run the wrong rated can on your bike?

Get a power commander, you should be able to use any can then :wink:

My can is not right, I loose abit on the bottom end but the top end is more fun.

The capacity of the bike the manufacturer says it was intended for is not the important bit - all you have to worry about is the internal diameter of the baffle tube :? So long as that is not significantly less than the mid-pipe feeding it, you shouldn't have much issue. One of my cans (57mm internal bore) effectively deals with just 500cc on my bike, whereas the same size internal bore can be found on the single can for a Gixxer thou system :wink:

If the header match, that can of rash's would be OK for your R1 8)

That cans gone now and the carbed R1 is a 57mm inlet (cause i've put one on the SV, with alot of work) :wink:

i have a scorpion titanium available, its a 52mm inlet - ahh well back to the micron i guess.
