esso petrol station!!!

just a bit of a moan from me...

went into the esso petrol station on exeter street (plymouth) a couple of days ago,rode up to the air machine to check my tyre pressures...the thieving b'stards want 50 bloody pence for the privelage!!!

now im not cheapskate but that takes the biscuit a bit!!

not sure if this is the same in all esso petrol stations but its a joke!

Seems to be the thing at most non-supermarket stations. I remember when i got a flat in plymouth once, had to stop at every station to fill up, cost me a small fortune!

our esso charge 20p

however, tesco's and sainsbury are free, and sainsbury have a posh digital one as well

For that you should get helium. Imagine how much that would reduce unsprung weight.

The Esso up the road from me is the same (Bovey Straights) - I moaned and the guy said he knows the garage up the road doesn't charge and suggested I go there

haha my esso doesn't charge... and its digital! WHOOP!
well it was the last time i had to get air from there being last year so maybe they might charge......... oops!!!

its a esson managed garage not a tenanted one so they always grab as much out of us as they can.
