You referred to what Paul mentioned - then 10 mins later that half of your post disappeared. Must admit I thought the same as Moose for a second, but like Dyna said - I think you probably edited your own post.

Indeed - and I realised who did it, but was just messin' hence the smilie's :D

Oh, and as identity of the offending rider is confirmed by the colour scheme, he immediately realised his error, and I believe came and apologised? Apparently there's a nice vid clip of the resulting hand gesture on his rear facing bullet cam :?

I think Moose had a problem or two stopping in time in the first session! If I'd had my wing mirrors on they'd have been hanging from Moose's arms like a pair Pat Butcher's earrings!

   to be honest, I was a little more worried about collecting Andrew - he looked right to find me staring straight into his eyes from about 6" away

missed braking marker then hand slipping on brake lever not a good combination at the same time

Still, what you survive makes you stronger, eh

Anyway, despite my insistance that the TL isn't too loud, most seemed to suggest they knew when it was behind them

Personally, I thought it was the perfect way to introduce yourself

MOOSE: "Hi, you must be Loris? (Shake hands) Sorry, but I nearly took you out just then."

LORIS: "Ah, you must be Moose?!"

It's on pre-mix, but I was running it a touch rich because it's on brand new main bearings and a new (to me) crank.

I started it off at 25:1 but moved it back to 30:1 before I went on track, apparently it needs even less oil!

Better safe than sorry I guess though.

I would have liked to have had more track time too, but people kept offering me their bikes and it's very hard to turn down!
