Stealth tax.

Did you know there is such a thing as a British Constitution and in it it says you'll only be taxed once. They keep it quiet, unlike the Yanks, so we don't know our rights

£28.50/hr :?

When was the last time you payed a tradesman to do work :?

How much do Taylors charge for their mechanics :?

You have to pay for the test centre, the instructors, their insurance, the computer system, etc., etc., etc.,

A driving licence is a privelidge, not a right ....... if you don't like it, don't pay - simple as that :D

I have no issue with making test's harder, or even introducing refresher tests, if it
a) improves standards of driving on roads
b) is the same for everyone - cars, bikes, etc., that includes power/capacity restrictions, etc., as well
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

Hopefully I'll never have to do this test again, but I don't think I mind the price...Rosehill charge other units $40-60 pound for an hour of time so Moose has a point (again, the git).

Mike, I didn't know that about our constitution... how interesting...although our constitution is unwritten and was gradually reformed from 1997 under the labour government.

Well I just passed my theory for the second time. It took me twenty mins to complete the hour long exam and I got 86% (pass mark is 60%)

I have one of these revision CD's and I thought it would be a laugh to see if I passed while drunk. I actually did better in the hazard perception when I was 2 times over the limit.

Maybe its a good thing that they are making it a bit more difficult to pass?
