From the Mulsanne roundabout down through indianapolis to Arnage is still good, but remember to stop for the T junction at Arnage

If the circuit is so good - why were you a sleep under the Armco down the mulsanne straight looking like you'd been hit by a truck ….. (and don’t say “because I always look like that”).

Thinking of going later this year with redjaz.
Just found a good site for breakdown cover.

You get ripped off by brittany ferries going to caen, you could try LDL from pompey to le havre, maybe a better deal, other than that go to dover and go on Norfolk line 2 hour crossing to dunkirk, if you want a good feed stop at the les routiers truck/van drivers restaraunts, and make sure there are plenty of vehicles outside before you go in, the busier the restaraunt the better the food, no trucks or cars outside at meal times generally means it is not worth the bother, an example is the Terminus at Landivisiau (twinned with bideford) 10.50 euros gets you 2 plates of entrees, a bowl of soup, a main course, cheese, a sweet and coffee

Little update from Tom L

spoke to him on the phone. They were slightly damp had rode for six hours in the pissing rain. They are very skint but they reckon they can last three weeks!! i hope they can it would be a shame if not. their in Bergerac (i think thats how its spelt) today and i'm going to try find out how much it is to ferry it from spain so they don't have to ride all the way back through france! They have a couple of mates in Spain that are offering part time work. Looks like they are going to have to work to get enough money to get home.

I cant explain how much I wanted to go on this trip with them.

Dont get caught doing silly things on the road! As I have learnt, you certainly pay for it.
