Takes pillion no problem. 50mpg +, up to 300 mile tank range, it's reliable with 6k service intervals, it goes on road, it goes off road, rear tyres go 9k, front 15k, chain and sprockets 18k and still ok. And it's super comfy. It has heated grips. Wring it's neck, hammer it nice and hard, still purrs like a pussycat. Wheelies if that's your thing. Best of all it is not a shi*e BMW. Triumph Tiger 04.
Those things are awesome. I work for a Triumph dealer, have just sold my GSXR 750 and have my 05 Tiger on the way ;)
I don't think you'll miss the GSXR at all, in fact you will look back and think the motor was a bit weedy.

(Ooops, putting a stick in a hornets nest there Greg)

I ride all the bike I have here, and know what I want.

I also know the GSXR engine is a different world.

Mind you a well ridden tiger will keep with anything on the road.

Gixxer thou K1

The bike that revolutionised the litre bike market in 2000.

Awesome power. Awesome torque. Scares the shit out of me.
And mine has K tech front inserts and a nitron rear that are valved and sprung for a large fella like myself :)
The guy I bought it off paid 3500. Spent over 1200 on it then sold it to me for 3000 8 months after he bought it just because he bought a K5.

result!
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you on experience.

On Tuesday 31st July our boiler was deemed unsafe by British gas they capped it all off so no hot water no heating and no bloody money....

It may be on this site in the for sale section in the next couple of days if anyone is after a GIXER thou K1 18000 miles for £3k.......

Haven't sold my ZX7R yet. As soon as we've moved the dumper blocking the shed doors and I can get it out for a clean and some pics then on the autotrader she will go.

Reason for selling?
It's a P plate and way slower than the Gixer

Too late now :( , but don't get british gas to service your boiler, if they see something slightly suspect they will cap it. Safty first i know but they are abit over the top. :?

Don't sell the bike...connect it to your heating system, when you want some hot water give it a handfull!!! 8)
