Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

BRA RUN 07

Post by Funkywolf »

19th August, slightly earlier this year, but it should mean the weather will hold
Leaving from LIDL's in Bridgwater, and off to Weymouth Sea Front. Again, £5 per bike min, and woven patches for the first 100.
ALL proceeds to go to Breakthough Breast Cancer.
50 bikes+ turned out last year when we departed from Riders, so let's see if we can improve on this?
Am in need of some goodies to borrow for this one, like a 12v double beacon, a few non riders to take photos enroute, and one or two experienced marshalls.
Many thanks, ride safe

I have 2 large single beacons you can borrow.

Am also an experience Marshall, having now done all 3 Chicken Run UK Tours, each of which was 3500 miles around the UK.

This charity is close to my heart and family so will gladly help and attend.

My mobby No is on my signature below.

Have you got any times for meeting at Lidl? , a route?, a flyer we can copy and print or put on other websites?
A good cause - will see how much interest I can drum up once I have more details
Cheers

Route

Out of Bridgwater and onto the M5 south at J24. Come off at J25, turn left and go down the A358 to the A303. Turn right at Cartgate services onto the A37, and basically follow it all the way to Weymouth. For those that know it, crossing the bridge at the Swannery car park, and entering Weymouth by way of the Clock Tower. Turn right and park up at either the Sea Front or the Pavillion car park, depending on space.
Easiest place to join the run midway will be Cartgate, tag along and overtake the escort vehicle at the rear. Leaving Bridgwater at 0945 and arrive at Weymouth approx 1 1/2 - 2 hrs later. 60 miles, fuel up prior to the off

wearing of bra's on bikes

Post by Funkywolf »

For those in disbelief, go onto msn.com, and type in "Bra run."
Bra's to be worn on the bikes, as seen in pix.
Thanx
