Done Le Mans (MotoGP). Done Assen (MotoGP and WSB). Would imagine Assen has lost a lot of its appeal now they've made the track look like all the others!

Also heard a rumour that on AssenGP weekend in 2008, theres another big event on in the area so get hotels booked ASAP if you're going!!

Would like to do a Spanish round and an Italian round. Also wouldn't mind going to one of the fly away rounds.

Only definate for me next year is going back to the Ring. May try and get to Spa at the same time.

deej wrote:tom, how long does it take to ride/drive to jerez and valencia and do you get the ferry from plym to santander or another route

cheers
If your gonna drive then its a lot cheaper and faster to fly and hire a car.

If you go by bike then its about 8 hours to Valencia and 10 hours to Jerez. Thats with stops and reasonable roads. Quicker on the motorways.

Deej,

It takes tomr6 slightly longer to get anywhere nowadays on account of him being such a Lardy B***ard.....but I wouldn't hold it against him.....he's not such a bad fella really....!!

In fairness my extra girth does slow me down but Paul manages to keep up by riding bigger bikes and having a streamlined head! Most of the time!!!

I am doing the Bol dor 24hr (not the old timers classic) great weekend and nearly as good as Le mans.

If there is a group of you that want to do a foreign race the I deffo would recomend one of the 2 French endurance races.

Le mans is the best party which is a non stop pee up.

the costs arent too important as i get free fuel in my car from next year so i intend to make the most of it and take in the scenery and only pay for ferry crossings. im guessing that those timescales are from santander then tom ??

Yeah, Bilbao is around the same sort of timescales. Longer ferry crossing though.

No. It takes 14 hours longer and costs 70-150 quid more.
