Bike Test changes?..

Post by Smiler »

Hiya

Need some reliable info for a mate of mine who's looking to do his bike test next year.

He's 20 (21 in Aug, ah bless!) and wants to do Direct Access and get an unrestricted 600 or other, rather than res. 33bhp - so my question is...

is the bike test or requirements to take the test changing this next year? and if so, do you know what it's likely to be?

Many thanks in adv,

Smiler

Thx Steve, I'll pass on the link.

Doesn't look like major changes, just the off road assessmenty bit then?

You about to do your licence then? Good luck!

1st october but get him in their quick as it'll be chaos when more and more people realise plus prices will start rising, theyre already going up due to rising fuel costs

its major changes,if you fail the new yard test they take you out on the road still even though you cant pass. its not gone down too well with the training schools

Thx Deej, I'll get him to contact a training school - any recommendations for one near Bridgwater? - as he's 21 in August tho, I rekon he may be part of the last min rush

Cheers for the info,
