Now that I'm no longer living in Newquay, news gets to me a bit later down the line. It would now appear that the best Bar in Newquay and possibly the country is either closed or about to close. THE VIC BARS is to be no more, making way for a cinema so I am led to believe. Some of you may be familiar with it, hidden away behind the central in Newquay, a live music venue with a great atmosphere.
So goodbye THE VIC BARS and thanks for many a good evening and memory.

Haven't been there for years but a shame it's closing

Used to go to Newquey every summer, must go again soon.

yep final night on saturday,been bought by property developers so i doubt it will be a cinema
