Does that mean people with restricted bikes just take them out? Same principal. If it was installed under terms of your insurance policy then if you disconected it then it would invalidate your insurance.

At the moment it is just a pilot scheme but if it works and it stops chavs thinkint their 1.0 litre corsa is the fastest and best handling car on the road then I say bring it on  Its either that or raise the age that they can drive a car. Oh no they are already doing that 8)

I dont even have a certifacate, just got garage to say bike was restricted on x.
Paid 99p for my restrictors, but had no paper work insurance didnt ask for them just asked if it was said yes. Saving of about 200 quid.

Yep there is which is fine until, Heaven forbid anything happens and plod checks the bike. The point I am making is that is it not about time they started to clamp down on car drivers as well as bikes. If the new drivers ( and old biddys) had the devices fitted at least if they did take you out due to their crap driving the plod could download the info and maybe, just for once it would not automaticly be the bikers fault. :D
