How lucky...

Post by thelastsuperpower »

My friend got pulled over on the way to work today.
Apparently the policeman chased him a good three miles with the lights and sirens before he realised  .The policeman said he himself was doing 85mph and my friend was actually pulling away from him,and this was on a 50mph dual c/way and a 40mph road!

Anyway the policeman then starts going on about his zx10r hes just been riding around donnington, tells my mate to take it easy and lets him know it was a good thing the other lazy b****rd (i.e. a fellow police car!)didnt take up chase!
Off he pootles without giving him any points/fine/ban,which by all rights,he shouldve got for that episode.

Jammy,jammy bugger  .

Must be a pretty bad rider not to look in his mirrors for 3 miles...or does he not have mirrors ?

Pretty lucky anyway, the policeman must have been having a REALLY good day !

This the same one who had the flat tyre? :D
Pretty lucky to get away with it, the law is gay, ride to the conditions, could be perfectly safe to do them speeds just law says otherwise.

I think its all down to attitude when you get pulled, play ball and apologise works wonders, nothing too creepy but a straightforward 'sorry m8 wasn't thinking' and if he or she is in a good mood you get a slapped wrist and a producer........ :)

On my way to work in Yeovil a couple weeks ago, I was going a 'little' over the speed limit on the Ilminster By-pass...

I was determined to catch the black car I could see in the distance before 2 lanes became 1... Laid on the tank screaming my baby in top gear I just made it...

Immediately I saw flashing lights in the car I'd just passed... I stopped on a sixpence and pulled over fearing the worst...

Mr Plod asks just how fast I was going, to which I replied 'I'm not sure'...

'Well, we were doing well over 90 just giving up a pursuit of a suspected stolen car when you caught and passed us, which would mean you had to be travelling at around 130+MPH'... ?

'No, I never go that fast' I pleaded...

After much deliberating and more 'Sad eyes' from me... He gives me that 'Knowing look' and says... 'Go on, bugger off, and slow down...

'Thank you Sir'... and off I go... Slowly, 'till he turned off for Taunton... :P

Yeah thats exactly what my friend did....admitted he may have been going a 'little bit faster' and just didnt answer back or be cheeky.

i like chris rocks advice - "if you get pulled over, make sure you do this one simple thing - Shut the F*ck up" I never understand why people start having a go.
