Well thats what my social worker said aswell lol, but she helps me fill in everything in aswell. Do you live oppersite the pub? Cant rem what its called.Johnnyb wrote:Claim for everything you can, my daughter just got over an operation and has worked fulltime since school and the forms we are having to fill out to try and get her a few quid to help pay her rent (as she is a hairdresser and the wages are crap) its horrendous, like they want to make it too difficult so you give up, but if she was a single mum unemployed and in a council flat they would be bending over backwards to give her money, and thats from the horses mouth( well the benefits lady actually) so get those claims in.........
Socials paying for everything so thats alrightFunky wrote:It's very expensive getting your own place. I'd budget around 500 a month for your own flat and then you have bills on top of that such as council tax, electricity, gas, tv licence, internet and water bills. It's cheaper to go into a house share if you know anyone who will share with you.
