Editing a video on PC to upload to YOU TUBE or ANYWHERE ??

I have got coverage of last years Llandow trackday thanks to Gav but its 14 mins long. I want to upload to say somewhere like Youtube so i can put a link up on this site. You tube only except 10 mins max. There is plenty i could erase but don't know how or is there another website video host i could upload it to to gain a link for site.

Got windows xp and bugger if i can work out if there is any thing avaliable on here to edit it.

Why do they make computers so bleedin hard to work out ??

Photobucket won't have any of it now as its too long and neithier will youtube.

Any pointers as to what i can do to just put up a link on here from my PC for everyone to see and hopefully learn abit about what to expect at Llandow ?? Please??

If you have a full version of XP you should have microsoft movie-maker which I have found OK

If you haven't got it, I think it's a free download from the microsoft site ......

Yeh as said you should have windows movie maker on your pc. Using that you can chop out bits etc.

use megaupload.com its free and you can upload lots. I used it and put 128mb on there. All for free !

Megaupload works well, if not try http://video.google.co.uk/

Youtube needs to be under 10min and 100MB. Windows Movie Maker that comes free with WinXP works pretty well, just cut out the stuff you dont want.

i use movie maker and downsize the meg to 10 but will do it to 30meg next time as its better quality and still uploads quite quickly

its simple when you know how,crikey i struggled like hell when i used it
next time you try it see if im online and i'll talk you through it mate as it would be good to see some llandow footage from the swb days

top right of the screen, beside a box that says "download" there are three capital letters to write in the box

You will have to download it though which will take the time.

Clip takes a while to get going as its first session out so its the religious 3 lap warm up then after a few good laps it gets red flagged which i think was due to Scottys flip

I was still learning lines though

Tried movie maker just wanted to delete the first 5 mins really so i can upload it to Youtube. Not much happens in that part. But for some reason it just keeps starting at 1 min 10 in and that is all it will give me.

I havn't got the patience for things like that.
