Can I just say....

Watched the vid, and tho I have no intention of getting me knee down at all, ever..

Some of the stuff explained made a lot of sense, and in practice I've proved that today - having my baby over just that little bit more thru the twisties coming back from Exeter! :D

Thank you, whoever posted it! x

everybody counter steers, if you didnt you'd be ruuning straight on at every corner you went around at anything other than walking pace - its one thing that requires no thought whatsoever.

But if you are aware of it and what it is then you can push it a little further - thus pushing the bike over slightly more getting a tighter turn and the bike lower !

if your pegs are pushing into your ankle than your feet could be in the wrong position, knee downs posible on most bikes if you have the confidence/stupidity to try it. i was doing it on saturday on a ccm r30 now thats fun !!

jason do you not find theres a difference between counter steering and actively counter sterring to corner quicker, some of my trck shots show it quite clearly but im not actively doing it myself, well not that im aware off

did the rear tyre let go or did something touch down and lift the bandit off the road as its a bit lower to the ground than a sportsbike

too low of a gear maybe? bit of a jumpy throttle? a bit of lean and cold tyres with a twitchy throttle isnt good :) id say thats how i bined mine over christmas ,but id prefer to say it was ice :)

15mph would be 1st gear on track and probably way to low a speed to be getting your knee down with. most roundabouts are taken at least 50 to get your knee down when practicing as the speed keeps the load on the tyres
