Re: LLANDOW CRASHES
I fell off. Went round the bus stop and messed up the corner so headed off into the grass, applied throttle and bike lost traction and fell over.
Blue Sv650s Curvey - Now unrestricted but starting to find the suspension a problem.
Next bike: CBR600RR eventually.

Re: LLANDOW CRASHES
well, i kinda think a steering damper would have pervented my moment..
came out that corner, banged the gas on for the straight while still shifting weight full slapper while still throttling it.. i tried holding on and putting the front down' riding it out.. kinda happened a bit quick to igknoledge the fall..
enough said.. wont dwell on the past.
i think i shouldnt have been throttling so hard untill i had a feel for the track etc...
kinda rider error..

i claim the first crash of the day, on my rsv. just pushing it too hard, i ride my rsv like i rode my gsxr and i really shouldnt, a little too much gas for the lean i had on it. really knocked me for the rest of the day, but i picked the pace up again slowely

Could also do to remember that you're supposed to slow down once the chequered flag is out too ......
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Re: LLANDOW CRASHES
and not overtake when the yellow flags are out, hence people were slowing down
Re: LLANDOW CRASHES
I crashed, when my bike decided it had enough of being a bike and wanted to be a tractor. No damage done though so rock on!

Re: LLANDOW CRASHES
I managed to keep it shiney side up this year.
Hazard9 great crash i went through the same experience a couple years back on my RR. They say the RR doesn't need a damper but over that hump on the exit it does
I managed to keep it pinned but my teeth were shattered and rips rattleing by the end of the straight.
Shame it happened on your first session but you were scary to follow even on the warm up laps you loon

yer a steering damper will be on in a few months..
scored a bling new swing arm from the usa today.. cus of the exchange rate.. 70 quid. ovo second hand but better than the one on there now.. if the pictures are quality acurate!!
not putting bobbins on it though gunna go for some r n g spindle thingys for future protection. il just use a simple padock stand... the bobbins snapped off causing a nice dent on the side of swing arm.. ripped a small hole where they were welded on.. mine where metal bobbins so i dunno if plastic ones would do the same..
managed to get my forks straight.. no marks on um ethier.. have to wait till i get a new gen cover till i can ride it to make sure there dead straight..
had the fibre glass out today..
ill have it looking sweet again soon..
just got to pick up levers n bar ends hopefully now... clip on has remained straight
got a new rearset today for a fair price n all..
it does knock you for six. pain doesnt start till the next day ( well mine any way).
im defo going back next year.. aint letting it get the better of me!
ive been over a car bonnet before n i think that topped the smashes n crashs tales for me..

No crashes in our little group, but did have a little difficulty leaving ....
Also got a little worried when we were followed into the services at Newport by a bike cop

I liked the way that you stayed sat in the car and made them all push !!!! great power to weight ratio
