Just got CD through - superb shots, matey. You've got a real talent for that. You managed to get me 17 times at Llandow.

Cheers.

Couldn't be arsed to find pictures of each person... that would had been £35 8)   So anyone you know who went as well just pass the DVD onto them or recopy it etc.

I used a Canon 350D http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product ... /index.asp Its been superseded by the 400D and now the 450D. Ebay would be the best bet for a cheapish one, its an entry level dSLR but does the job, I dont even use it at the full 8MP.

The lens I use is a budget 90-300mm http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product ... /index.asp cost £85 new from Ebay but I'm more than happy with the quality. The real quality of the pics is in the lens and they go way up over £3000 for a top of the range one! expensive like any hobby.

ah thanks for that. had a look at the nikon d40 when i wanted a new one as it was within my budget but i didnt allow for the cost of a extra lens  was gutted as i wanted something to take decent bike shots from a distance so settled for a panasonic lumix instead.

D40 is an entry level dSLR too, good camera. Lens prices aint to bad, just had a look on Ebay and similar spec ones to what I have are about £70-90. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-SIGMA-70-300m ... dZViewItem

Keep an eye on Ebay and you may find a cheap camera with lens already included. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Canon-Digital-EOS ... dZViewItem for example.
