i've done about 6000 miles on mine in just under six months which is when i past my test,in total though i do about 30,000 miles a year, the mileage is why i got the bike as my last car was costing me about £70 a week in fuel ,so i got rid, bought the bike got a run around and saved my self a fortune in fuel costs.still haven't quite figured out what is more fun though the old car or the bike.Perhaps with more experience on the bike and that question will answer its self.

My duke had 2500 on it when i got it in march 8)
Its done just over 5000 now but thats two rear tyres and one front  ( must slow down a bit )
I only ride it at weekends as I walk to work 8)
When I used to ride 7 days a week rain or shine I use to do 10-15000 a year.

p.s Another new rear being fitted on sat
