It doesn't seem just, but I dare say the nightmares she now undoubtedly suffers (unless she is completely inhuman) will be a far greater lesson than going to prison.. I'm sure that doesn't quite cut it for the family who have lost a loved one, who quite understandably must want some-one to 'pay' for a reckless and inexcusable act. But, who amongst us can claim to drive/ride at 100% all of the time? By the grace of god, I say.. It's just a rotten situation for all concerned.

I was shocked at the price they put on a human life. I can understand that an accident such as this can happen even though it really shouldn't the woman should have enough awareness to do both things. But the amount she had to 'pay' is very wrong i believe.

If i had my way she would now have to work for that family for 15 years and dig the poor guys grave and sleep on the floor of a male toilet for 5 years.

Very true a case of being in the wrong place a few seconds either way she more than likely have hit another car.
Very Sad.

I'm utterly disgusted & ashamed of Britains legal system, someone mentioned elsewhere how we know precisely where we stand, & it stinks.

I read this too and it made my blood boil. This descision was purely political. A mother kills a biker. Light sentence. Biker kills a mother. Hung drawn and quartered. Nobody cares about bikers. The justice system isnt working in this country anymore. Just my pennies worth.
