Exhausts... ?

Post by Varcon »

Well, we all learn from mistakes dont we - so as i rather fuckedup my exhaust on my ER5 i need to get it sorted fairly soon (its rideable, just!).

Now im thinking that as i had the cam chain replaced not that long ago, and so as to not take the piss too much i might as well keep it till my restriction is over....

So do i,

A)Just buy another standard system (probably second hand from ebay) for about £40 - £50 ?

B)Buy either a Laser, or the GPR slip on (they are a cut off the standard end can from the system, and fit them on), they are both around £280. And if so, which one ? (also the plus side is that i dont have to wait around for one to come up on ebay and could have it buy the end of the week)

C) Buy a whole Remus system, including stainless downpipes, for around £450 ?

Or are B/C a total waste of money ?

Well been thinking, and it might not be the fastest bike, but considering i am riding over my restriction already im not gonna upgrade bikes till my restriction is over !

So im gonna spend a little bit on tihs bike doing it up a bit, and making it look nice !

So i went and ordered a new Laser can !
