On a serious note at a choice of any 5 bikes whatsoever in my garage I would go something like this:

1. GSXR 1000 K7/K8
2. 990 superduke
3. Husky SM610
4. RM-Z450
5. RS 250

that sort of covers all bases I reckon.

1. FJ Bathtub
2. Dark Tinted (Black) Window
3. Furry Flier (gotta be careful with that one, it's a bit close to home  )

No point with the other two, those three are all you'll ever need

Even better, this ticks all the box's ......

Mega-capacity V-Twin (for the hard-biker image ....... )
Huge power for sports performance (in a straight line .......... )
Big comfy seat for touring (not sure about fuel range ....... )
Japanese running gear for reliability
English motor for heritage
Mad Max looks for the streetfighter/rat appeal

Jesus!!

I think I recognise Bathtub!!

Does he ride round on one of those weird reliant robin powered Quasar type things?

If it's the guy I'm thinking of then I can't really say much as he's a customer, but I'm sure you know......

Bathtub rider was basically just socially inept, not just this net forum but others to. He usually had a reasonable point to make but did it in such an antagonistic self supererior and pompous manner that every thread he posted ended up descended into pages of him telling everyone else how stupid they where. Typical net troll always had to have the last post to so in the end the only options the admins had was to ban him (or we would probably all still be here locked in an infinate loop of bathtub rider threads)

coincidentally he also got my "Brass Monkey - fucktard award"

Classic,

Just read through the thread, oh how I wish I had seen that at the time! It was who I thought, and it appears the opinion I had already formed is spot on the money!!

See this is what i dont get, people are in such a hurry to ban total trolls. They shouldnt be banned, they should be kept as pets so we can point and laugh. I still think Furry was the best troll.
i dont have a drinking problem.......if anything, i'm too good at it

1) 1998-2000 Reg, SV650, ( ok not the first bike you'd wish for but for fun day to day running around on perfect, and I just think it has real sweet lines with the cool bug eyed fairing thing... ok gone to far!)
2) GSX'R 750 older slabside again for the looks.
3) Aprillia Tuono Factory, great freaky love it / hate it paint scheme and great motor, plus they've done the add ons for you!
4)Moto Guzzi Griso, dunno why but I really like the look of it and reckon it would be a great tourer.
5)RM 250, for hooning round the fields and bringing back boyhood day dreams  !

Something for every one! Or not....well nearly everyone then :D !
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!
Ride GSXR 750 WR ( 1994) .

Mate 600 quid and you can have the best bike on the site, since fester left. Demand skyrocketed hence price inflation.
What makes me laugh though is my manager at work has a newer one than me, same model but mines in better condition with less miles and he paid more than double I did.

Anyway mine would be,
1. 03-08 Rsv mille, just pure sex 8)
2. 98 R1 just best looking model yzf IMO, I just prefer chunkier looking bikes and stupidly fast.
3. Kwak KR1S, So you can just rag it everywhere.
4. Kwak Zx7r, just because i love them, hopefully my next bike.
5. Any Srad i love how fat they are and the seat hump includes tlr
