Lol @ Doug

I had a good day, The ride home for me was the best part  It was a little bit more up-beat then the crawl to wadebridge.

It wasn't a bad turn out although I think a few would have been deterred by the weather,

Monkey I definately saw your bike when it was parked up but didnt see you, I was looking out for you so i could say hi & put a face to the name. Maybe next time.

Quite a few bikes turned up for the Plymouth run down and the weather was 100% better than Saturday... bit disappointed with the lack of stands at the showground but it was all worth it for a good cause, some guy in front of me nearly came off at a roundabout in Plympton :? decided to make my way up near the front as the pace wasn't so bad at the front behind the marshals and I didn't really want to be behind the guy who had the wobble at Plympton..... well done to Webby & co from Rideout sw for a good effort of organising the event :)

NOTE FROM THE ORGANISOR:-

Hi All

I can tell you after a quick tally up we had around 600 - 650 bikes.

And the totals are £3146.00 so far!

I still have a couple dealer stands to collect from including the caterers, after a few expenses are taken out, which are minimal as i manage to get business's to foot most of it.

So i think we have a similar amount to last year.

In all due to weather conditions we did very well. The weather did spoil the turnout but for those that showed spirits were hi.

I will have the sites updated and proper figures with 48 hours.

I have also noticed the mention of a lack of stands. Well, I can confirm that we had 5 no shows, after checking with them all 2 weeks ago and told they would be there. Something that has disappointed me but such is life. We will have a lot more next year.

Many thanks for your support yesterday

ride safe
