Track fairings - soon at CMS

Post by Blimey »

Talking to Derek at CMS Pinhoe, last Friday and he said he was taking in a stock of track fairings for most modern sports bikes.

Can't remember the companys name but they are from the USA and been highly recommended as being a great fairing kit. Fibre glass with the gel coated outer and finished in matt black. None of this having to trim and fit rubbish.

He is showing me some tomorrow hopefully and see what i think of them and then obviously selling me some and see what the fit is really like.

Prices vary but about the £250 mark.

Will update with further info when i get it.

blimey, check to see if they have the holes pre-drilled as thats a big bonus and saves a lot of hassle and cockups

Mine where pre drilled and most of the feckin things still didnt line up

I had to hacksaw tha back end of the bellypan off mine as it didnt allow for a stand and hit the rear wheel with a 55 profile anyway.

an enormous pain in the ass. There is definately a market for plug in and go track fairings, the cheap fibre glass thing I bought was a mistake

most track kits dont allow for a stand mate,if you want a good quality one try qb carbon for their fibreglass kits theyre top notch for the ducatis, near perfect fit and the predrilled holes were spot on
