supposed to be slimming down my bike collection, making some space and freeing up some cash - starting with breaking my gsxr7-11 for bits. Sold half of it, but have accidentally agreed to buy another complete 85 slabby gsxr750 with some of the proceeds pics to follow when i get back from picking it up tomorrow, though I may find myself living in the shed...

yep pema knows, had to be honest as i've already used the it's-always-been-there line a couple of times now, and since she came back from uni to find a part built chop in the hallway i've had to tread carefully... this one's for commuting to work though now my job has moved to Exeter - is a non runner at the moment but hopefully nothing major so should be on the road. its even (shhh - dont tell anyone!!) fully faired

sorry jak that tank went a couple of weeks ago - am thinking of selling my brackish tank with pufferfish and a moray eel though...

given up on being rich years ago Blimey - have just settled on being happy and good-looking. well happy anyway...

well here's y new excuse to get oily hands!! 85 gsxr750f hypersports - the daddy of them all
the tailpiece is the first to go - its a real bodge of fibreglass, steel and cardboard (!) so back to standard it goes, unless i can get a cheap rgv tail. not presently running but the carbs are already in their constituent parts in my kitchen ready to be cleaned up - healthy spark so hopefully just stale fuel and gummy carbs stopping it. Needs fork seals, calipers stripping and cleaning to get it MOT'd. then as and when respraying the whole thing satin black.

Heresy I know, but looking at how original that appears, I'd be very tempted to go as near as stock as possible ....... a cheap but clean one of them just might be a bit of an investment ........

yeah I'm not planning much in the way of mods on this one (unlike the last one) - purely cos i dont want to spend much on it really The top yoks been drilled for risers but bar that it's pretty original and fairly clean. The seat unit is nasty in the flesh, and the lowers at the front are aftermarket fibreglass so unless I found a complete stock fairing in blue and white though it's not going back to stock colours - if I'm going to have a faired buke the least I can do is make it a black one

oh no, it's happening again already found that a spare set of cut up carbs that I have kicking about are 29mm flatslide carbs off a gsxr750 - and just happen to have a stage 3 dyno kit in them. And they can be bored out to 33mm quite easily and I've found a cheap set of 17" wheels on eb*y....
